Charli had some great play dates this month starting with Bailey the 8 week old Lab puppy and then later in the month with Bruno her frequent play date mate!  Bailey came back for the Easter weekend, here are a couple of links to videos!  SO FUNNY!!

To my gorgeous girl Dahby, you were my friend, my confidant and a perfect match for my soul.  I held you in my hand as you took your first breath and wish above all that I could have been there when you took your last but that was not to be. 

You will always be the most special girl to me, Dahby the "One", I will hold you close to me for eternity and will never forget you.  Rest in peace my beautiful Dahby, I love you with all that is left of my broken heart.

Charli and Shelby had another play date filled with fun and slobber!!  These girls have such a great time together!!!

I spoke to Teel's who let me know that their mum Dahby is still going strong at 13.5yrs old!! Just love her to bits!! 

Charli and Bruno had another playdate!!  They love getting together and running around like crazy kids!! Ally came along for some fun too as she only lives around the corner from Bruno!!  Charli can't wait for the next one!!

Today we had our Hemi 9 catch up!  Unfortunately Hemi's owners couldn't bring her at the last minute but they will try and come to the next one!  I hired out Billy's Doggy Day Care for the afternoon so they could all play in a safe environment!  It's a fantastic place and Rebecca the owner is lovely!  

In the end we had Leila, Lola, Coby, Mopar and Gordon come along!  Charli and Miss Milly were the ring in's but they are half sisters so were at least related to each other!  They all had a fantastic time, such amazing temperaments on all the kids!

Well Charli (being the social butterfly she is) had another playdate on Sunday with a lovely big red boy called Tyson!!  They had a great time with each other and especially with the fit ball!!

I have been chatting to some fellow Boxer owners online and we decided to organise a playdate for the kids!  Shelby is a lovely little 11wk old red girl who Charli had a great time mothering or rather smothering..LOL!!  The following day she had a playdate with a 6 month old red male called Bruno!!  They had a great time rough housing and slobbering all over one another!!  Hahahah!!!

My Dahby dog turned 13 today!!!

We have just bought a new Canon D1000 SLR!!  LOVE IT!  Here are some pictures taken with the new camera!

Charli was in The Perth Voice paper today as part of an article about Alex from Houndstooth Studio!  YAY!

Received the pictures taken of Charli at the Western Classic today!!  What a pretty chick!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pepper (Ch. Kesdar Just Xquisite) won Runner Up to Best in Show and Best Intermediate in Show at the Western Classic tonight!!!!  There were a total of 1046 entries in the show and it is one of the biggest shows of the year!

Our breed judge was Dr T Jakkel (Hungary), the Group judge was Mr Peddie (Canada) and Dr T Jakkel was the General Specials judge!!

Pepper is the first natural tailed Boxer to win Runner Up in Show in Western Australia and we are very proud of her!!

A bit of a brag!!  Charli and Monty appear in the latest edition of Dogs Life Magazine!!  How exciting!!  The lovely Alex from Houndstooth Studio asked if we would be interested and of course we were!!  Such fun to see them in print!!

I have finally updated Annie's page, it is very emotional writing about your first baby who has passed away but she deserves to be represented on my website more than any other as she was the start of Benfelds and will live on as long as I have Benfelds Boxers.

The Natonal and Specialty were fantastic!!  I had such a great time catching up with everyone and seeing all the dogs.  Melbourne was a bit cold but Perth has been no picnic this winter so not too much of a shock!!

Flying out for the Boxer National in Melbourne on Friday!!  Can't wait!!

Finally heard back from the ANKC and I have my old prefix of Benfelds back!  YAY!!

Charli started agility tonight and took to it like a duck to water!!  On her first lesson she was doing a circuit of 5 jumps, tunnel and weaving poles.

I think agility will be her forte!

Charli and Monty had a studio photo session with the amazing Alex from Houndstooth Studio.  Pics will be added once we have had our viewing on 6 August, can't wait!!
