                Dear Vickie,

My wife and I could not be more thrilled with our Boxer JJ that we bought from you a few years ago. We researched for weeks on the Boxer Breed and reputable breeders.  It was a long drawn out affair for us. You will recall we came to you with more questions then one could imagine. Not only were you extremely knowledgeable about the breed you were patient, understanding and a great listener. We described our lifestyle to you and our housing situation and you soon ask us as many questions as we ask you! This to me showed that you really truly cared for your dogs and held the buyers to high standards.

Our Boxer is more then a dog, he is a family member. I guess you could say JJ is also the neighborhood dog as kids from our neighborhood stop and get JJ and off to the park across the road they go. We have never had any social issues with our Boxer ever. His temperament is amazing and his health has been fantastic.

I believe that much of the success we had with our Boxer as a puppy depended on what happened to our puppy before he came into our home. JJ’s genetic background, early conditioning, health and socialization are all the results of your efforts and we cannot thank you enough.

Even though you now reside on the other side of the world from us here in Chicago it seems as if you are our neighbor. You have always responded to our emails in a prompt friendly manner. I have never thought for a second that you were bothered by our contact. Thank you for assisting us in all phases of our relationship with our dog over the years. Not only did you meet all our expectations you by far surpassed them!

                Sincerely,
                Kent Lowe

My foundation bitch “Corky”came from Benfeld’s last breeding in 2002, while Vickie lived in the US.  I didn’t buy my girl from Vickie directly, I bought her from the co-breeder, but Vickie has always been a great help to me with information on the lines and the breed in general since my purchase of Corky.  She helped me with the research behind my lines, and to find breeders that may know more about the ancestors in those lines.

Corky is a wonderful girl, I cannot imagine my life without her.  She is currently 8 years old, and will be 9 in November.  She is fully health tested and cleared, and yearly holtered.  She has a wonderful temperament and has produced wonderful temperaments for me.

Vickie takes breeding incredibly seriously, and looks for a pair that complement one another in both conformation and health.  I would definitely consider importing a puppy to the States from Vickie if I were in the market for one, and I am so pleased to call her a friend!

Vickie & I became fast friends after meeting at a local dog show. I was new to the boxer breed and she was new to the USA!!  Our gorgeous boxer Darryl came to live with us with his breeder Vickie, who lived with us for a short time.  Being from Australia, she planned to return home and was unable to take her dogs with her.  Darryl quickly became a member of our family who was deeply loved.   Sadly, Darryl went to the rainbow bridge January 19, 2010.

Darryl was the most beautiful & loving boxer inside and out. He had a brindle coat with white markings that were perfect. He had white stocking feet and a white marking on the back of his neck. He was admired by all who met him wherever he went. When we would go for walks, people would stop us just to tell us how beautiful a dog he was.

His temperament was golden. His love for puppies and people was endless. He was always the first to welcome a new puppy into our home. Puppies could roughhouse all over him, chew his ears or tail, or bite him on the paws or back, but he would never harm a puppy. He was so gentle. He thrived on the puppy’s attention and affection for him. He will live on forever in our hearts.

                Hi Vickie,

Lilly has really improved thanks to your wonderful advice and help.  She still can not be let off the lead (don't think that will ever happen) but she is a lot easier to walk now.  She still gets excited when people come over but she calms down a lot faster especially when people ignore her. T here is still one or two people that she goes crazy around but I put that down to them feeding her craziness instead of ignoring it.

James and I are really appreciative of everything you did for Lilly, especially since she is going to be a big sister soon! We are expecting our first baby which is due in 7 weeks.  I keep telling Lilly that she will be a big sister soon.  She really loves kids so I am sure they will be the best of friends.  I have read that boxer can be a bit over protective of little ones so I will be keeping an eye on that.

Once again thank you for all you did for us we will never forget how you helped us when I was at a loss of what to do next.

                Warm regards
                Sarah, James and Lilly
