Spondylosis is when bone spurs form between the vertebrae fusing the vertebrae together.  Spondylosis is a genetically inherited disease.

Symptoms of Spondylosis are stiffness, lameness and some severely affected dogs will also lose muscle tone and feeling in their hind quarters.

Spinal x-rays are used to diagnose Spondylosis.
